Ramblings #3

So on a winter's sunny Sunday afternoon i find myself writing a little blog post. I will ramble on this post cos i have something to put our there after leaving house the twice in two days... *that's big for me*


Yesterday morning we took miss m to airport to fly out to Brisbane to spend two weeks with Nanny &Poppy and Great Grandma & Great Grandad.. Let the spoiling begin LOL Already got the text got two new pairs of shoes and new beret ...not bad for under 24 hours LOL

I will miss her like crazy but Paul and i act like kids who parents are away when miss m goes to Brisbane ... we have been our out and brought lots of things that she wont eat and things she will to LMAO but we will be living on tomato soup *miss m hates all things tomato except spag bol lol * so bake beans will be eaten .. tomato flavoured chips LOL

Now i don't know if it is every IGA but our IGA had all Arronett's bikkies on special $1.89 a packet so we have caramel crowns,tim tams,mint slice and tee vee snacks.. for the late night Milo choccie feast LOL

But i wonder ...

I would like to talk about something i did see at the airport that disturbed me lol Ihave noticed it other places too.. Why do ppl get all rugged up and wear thongs...
This guy yesterday Lets say he was a bit of a Shane warne look like too which makes it seem so much worse ...

He had on jeans,a thick padded jacket,scarf,beanie and THONGS!!! now i live in Bundaberg people sub tropics yes its cool of a night but always a nice pleasant 22 / 23 during day .. so bit of over kill there ..he was on the flight arriving from Brisbane only an hour's flying time away so temp wouldn't be that much different lol..

And my mum taught me that if my head and feet were warm rest of you would be warm .. so rugged up and THONGS defeats the purpose.. and i see have seen 3 times since then are they mocking me lol

So with Miss M gone Paul and I planing a nice sleepin but wasn't meant to be..Lovely neighbour across the road decided from 6 30 this morning to cut his front lawn up like a turf farm .. its was not expected and we were not happy Jan but as i said to Paul as we both hopped out of bed @ 645am
*well it is a sleep in cos every other morning your alarm goes off @ 5 * he grunted and made me a cup of tea.. LOL

Now I mentioned IGA earlier well my other issue is people who go shopping or even out in public without shoes ... no shoes on their feet ..bare footed ..ewww ewww ewww .. now don't get me wrong i am bare foot at home and love being on our grass with no shoes or even down at the beach in sand no shoes is great .. BUT ..in a shop.. walking around with your trolley and NO SHOES!!!!

*LMAO PAUL JUST GROANED @ ELVIS MOVIE BUT CHEERED FOR HERBIE THE LOVE BUG MOVIE this is why i love him and his hate of U2 of course* ^another blog post there lol

Anyway back to the no shoes ... we down IGA doing our shopping.. and in comes a family of mum dad and 3 kids not one of them had shoes on .. now i am not a fan of the thong in some places but surely you could at least wear thongs into a shop selling food and i thought you had to have shoes on to drive ...

Maybe its just me LOL but certain things have slipped People losing their manners and their ability to care for the appearance and these things are important ... well to me at least...
